A native of Habersham County, James Irvin, owner of Foothills Land Design, has more than 14 years of design and project management experience in the Atlanta North area, working with over 50 jurisdictions, and countless business and residential developers. Projects range from office/industrial parks, municipal projects, and
sustainable developments to large scale residential developments.
Irvin traded his experience of working with a large engineering firm to raise his children in his own hometown in northeast Georgia. Prepared with experience and genuine concern for his client's needs, Irvin continues to serve in the Atlanta North Area of Georgia with civil engineering services, land planning, and preliminary development assessments. His experience fully encompasses design and planning as well as coordinating client needs at every phase of a project from land planning through permitting to the construction phase and project close-out.
Additionally, Irvin has acquired insight above and beyond the field of civil engineering through in-depth examination of clients' needs, marketing the finished development, and sustainability. His focus as a project director is to build and maintain long-term working relationships by being proactive in his field and in the total success of each project.
